Tzatziki

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. garlic, finely grated
  • 1 tsp. fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • ¾ cup English cucumber, seeded & finely grated
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • olive oil, pita, vegetable crudité (for serving)

Instructions
 

  • In mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Add grated cucumber, garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Cover tightly and allow to sit for one hour before serving.
  • To serve, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh chopped dill or paprika. Serve alongside pita and vegetables or on top of a burger, gyro or salad.
