Furikake Fries with Wasabi Mayo

Ingredients
  

FOR THE FRIES
  • lb. frozen, house cut fries
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tbsp. Furikake seasoning
FOR THE WASABI MAYO
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. wasabi paste
FOR THE SPICY MAYONNAISE
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 pinch sugar

Method
 

  1. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise with wasabi paste. Stir until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise with Sriracha hot sauce and a pinch of sugar. Stir until smooth.
  3. Fry, bake or air fry house cut fries according to their packaging.
  4. While fries are cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan with garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat before garlic begins to brown.
  5. Once fries are cooked through and crispy, drain and place them in a large bowl. Toss them with garlic butter and 2 tbsp. of Furikake seasoning.
  6. Serve with dipping sauces.
