A Magical Frozen First Birthday Party!

Ever since Frozen II came out last year, our daughter has been in love. With her first birthday quickly approaching, we knew she would love a party with everything Elsa, Anna and Olaf. Here is how we created a magical Frozen first birthday party for our baby girl!

Due to COVID19, we had to celebrate a few months late but everything came together perfectly and she had so much fun celebrating with Family & Friends!

Due to many stores being shut down, I purchased most of the decorations online from stores like Amazon and Party City.

I always love a cute balloon garland! We were exhausted after blowing up all of these balloons (including this cute Olaf mylar balloon) ourselves but it all worked out because they looked great!

The Table

For the place settings, I used a foam snowflake, an iridescent plate and a Frozen plate. Each setting also had a reusable water bottle that the kids could bring home with their goodie bags.

The centerpieces were flowers that I picked up at my local grocery store. I also decorated with some candy and Frozen toys that we already had such as Bruni the Salamander.

Dessert

Due to COVID19, our dessert options were limited. We went with a simple cake from our local Sam’s Club.

We also have a local ice cream truck that will stop over for birthday parties. All of the kids (and parents) were happy to have a nice cold treat on a really hot day!

Gift Boxes

The gift boxes contained a drawing pack, graham cracker snacks, a bubble wand, snow powder and a magic washcloth.

Activities

For activities, we made stone trolls and snowflake wands.

For the stone trolls, you will need smooth round stones, a hot glue gun with glue sticks, dried moss, eyes and black markers.

Luckily, my teenage niece and her friend were willing to help the little ones put their trolls together using the hot glue gun.

For the snowflake wands, you will need white foam snowflakes, wooden sticks, snowflake stickers, glitter glue, ribbon and a hot glue gun with glue sticks.

Of course, the eyes from the trolls made their way over to the snowflake wands….

We also had an Olaf piñata that we completely forgot to break open. We are saving this for a rainy day when we are looking for something fun to do!

Despite having to do things a little different this year due to COVID19, we were still happy to be able to celebrate our baby girl!

I hope you enjoyed some of the Frozen party ideas that we used for our Daughter’s first birthday party.
