Although we all hate to admit it, it can be difficult to remember all of the little details of our babies first year.

It’s very important to me to make sure that I set the time aside to put these albums together to be able to look back on for many years to come.

I found these baby books when I was shopping at Pottery Barn Kids. They are incredibly cute and so different (in a good way!) than most other baby books that you will find.

The Design

The book comes to you in a craft photo book box that is great for storing the album while keeping it dust free and protected.

The photo album cover is a linen fabric that is foil stamped with the line “Here Begins The Story of You”.

Artifact Uprising offers seven different cover colors. I chose the Smoke with Gold Foil for our son and the Blush with Copper Foil for our daughter!

The album itself it 11.5″ x 10.25″ and it uses binder style metal clips to keep the pages in places. Each album comes with 100 pages which hold 50 prints.

You also receive a pen and photo adhesives to begin your documenting!

The album covers the first year of life and includes envelopes to store special documents such as personalized letters, hospital bracelets or first drawings.

Artifact Uprising also sells add-on pages. The binder style also makes it easy for you to add your own pages or documents simply by using a three hole punch.

The Content

Unlike many baby books that I looked at, this book leaves room to record moments that you sometimes forget about such as funny faces. The typical questions and memories are all located within the book but it also goes above and beyond to record the favorite, special moments.

There are many places throughout the book to leave your very own personalized notes or to have family and friends write out notes for the child!

I would say that the one downside of this album is the cost. Not only is the album itself typically around $100, purchasing the prints through Artifact Uprising is also pricey.

The quality of the prints through Artifact Uprising is great but it might be worthwhile to order prints through a different company.
