When we were pregnant with our first child, we decided that we weren’t going to find out the sex ahead of time. It was incredibly hard to wait so long to find out! With our second child, we chose to find out ahead of time but it didn’t make planning our baby girl’s nursery any easier.

There are so many cute nursery options to choose from!
We knew that we wanted to have a bright & clean, uncluttered look for our baby girl’s nursery. We ended up going with baby animals with little touches of light pink.
Here are a few of the details of the room with links to some of the items we used (or similar items)!
For our accent wall, I ordered this vintage floral wallpaper. We applied the wallpaper in a large rectangle on the wall and then framed it in with white accent trim.
The wallpaper was so easy to apply since it had adhesive backing.
I love how this wall turned out! It was just the right amount of wallpaper without being overpowering.

I absolutely love our crib from Pottery Barn Kids! The acrylic sides give the room a modern touch and allow me to see her clearly into the crib from the other room.
The crib is on the pricier side. Click here for a crib I found one on Amazon that looks almost identical for a more affordable price!
We had a simple, grey glider for our chair. We wanted something that could be used for years to come. It’s incredibly comfortable and great for rocking our baby girl to sleep.
I found these adorable baby animal canvas prints to hang on the walls. They are framed in a light grey wood that matches perfectly.
This small, grey table lamp at Target. We use a soft, white light bulb so the lighting in the room isn’t harsh for middle of the night diaper changes.
On the shelves we have a little house plant that I found at Trader Joe’s that is extremely low maintenance.
We also have a turtle piggy bank and a couple of cute stuffed animals including this Jellycat octopus and hippo from Pottery Barn Kids.
This Melissa & Doug giraffe was a hand-me-down from our sons’ room when he was a baby. He still loves it just as much…I don’t know how we are ever going to be able to get rid of this thing!
I found this basket at Target and it makes a cute hamper for all the dirty laundry that comes with having a baby!
We purchased this rug from West Elm and it is the softest rug I have ever felt! It’s just right for a baby girl to crawl around on.
You may have noticed these pictures are from two different rooms (great eye!). We moved! There are pictures from both houses in this post!
