For most people, deciding on a diaper brand doesn’t need to be a complicated decision. There are a few different quality brands on the market that will work well for most.

Most of the popular diaper brands weren’t working for my son due to skin sensitivity. I spent some time researching products that might help alleviate the problems that we were experiencing.

The Honest Company was one of the brands that I found that had great reviews. The company was founded in 2011 by Jessica Alba and her business partners. They aim to give their customers all of the needed information to make informative, quality decisions about the products that they are using and to offer safe products.

My first experience with this brand was after our son was born. I had received many different diaper brands at his baby shower but every brand that I tried left him with redness everywhere that the diaper touched. It was obvious that this constant, mild rash was causing him discomfort.

Our pediatrician confirmed this sensitivity and suggested I try out different diaper options until I find one that works.

I began researching different diaper brands that might offer a safer, more sensitive option for his skin. As soon as I switched to Honest diapers, the sensitivity completely cleared up. We have never had the problem since!

Once I knew that these diapers were the solution, I began the subscription service through Honest Co. to help save money. These diapers are some of the most expensive on the market so any discount is helpful!

The Bundle

The Diapers + Wipes Bundle comes with 7 packs of diapers (the total amount of diapers varies depending on the size that you order) and 4 packs of wipes (288 total wipes). Buying them in the bundle saves you 17% off the regular retail price!

Another great bundle benefit is that you can add-on items to each shipment at a 15% discount. I use this discount to buy Honest Co. cleaning products, sun block or any other items that I am in need of for the month.

The bundle is $79.95 plus tax (the regular, retail price for items is $96.45). Each bundle is meant to last a month but you are able to adjust the ship date as often as you would like. The bundle is customizable too! Each month you can choose different diaper prints and sizes. You can even choose the print on the packages of wipes.

A few days prior to your shipment, the credit card you have on file will automatically be charged. You will receive a reminder email a couple of days before this happens and it’s a great time to make sure that you have the proper prints and sizes chosen.

Diapers

There are normally many different prints to choose from – including seasonal and holiday options. If you are interested in the limited edition prints, make sure to schedule a shipment right when the new prints are released. Oftentimes, the special prints are sold out by the time my bundle is set to ship – even if it is just a couple of weeks after the prints are released.

As much as I wish I was, I am not the type of Mom that is willing to use reusable cloth diapers. Honest diapers are made with eco-friendly, plant based materials which does make me feel slightly better about that.

I have found that they are more absorbent than other diapers that we have tried. Especially at night time, when a diaper change isn’t happening until morning, the diaper is able to last the duration. They are able to hold 17x their weight in fluid for advanced leak protection.

Over the last four years of receiving this monthly bundle, I have received two individual packages of diapers that were defective – the side straps on the diapers were not attached properly. It was just a quick call to customer service and they sent out replacement diapers.

Now that my son is older and we have our daughter, I customize the bundle to six packs of diapers for my daughter and one package of overnight diapers for my son. It’s great that they allow you to customize rather than having to get a completely different bundle package for each child.

Wipes

The wipes are hypoallergenic, made with plant based materials and are more than 99% water. They are extra thick and really are the best brand of wipes that I have tried.

The lids on these packages closes firmly and helps prevent the wipes from drying out and leaking. Other brands that I have used end up leaking all over the diaper bag if they get squished.

Not only are these wipes great for diaper changes, they are also durable and thick enough for wiping hands, cleaning off toys, wiping tables and so much more.

Overall, I think this is a fantastic brand if you are looking for quality diapers & wipes for your baby. Both products were exactly what I was looking for and I am also really satisfied with the subscription service through Honest Co..
