Easter Basket Ideas for Kids

When I was a kid, I used to love going to my grandparents house to have a big Easter egg hunt with all of my cousins. We would fill our Easter baskets with all the eggs we could collect and then compare what each of us had received.

Each year I like to put together fun Easter baskets for the kids and then we have an Easter egg hunt before having a big brunch. The kids have so much fun. Here are some ideas of what to put in your kids Easter baskets this year!

Baskets

I like to use Easter baskets that we can repurpose around the house. This neutral woven basket can be used for storage after the holiday!

Books & Learning

This Disney’s Encanto: Welcome to Casita! Magnetic Book is a fun way to get kids involved in the story. You get to use the magnets to create the scenes of the book!

If you have read any of my other holiday posts you probably already know of our love of this series. It is no surprise that we love the How to Catch the Easter Bunny book too.

We love this construction book series too so I know that my kids are going to love the newest book, Construction Site: Spring Delight.

If you have a little one learning the alphabet and learning how to read & write, this alphabet practicing tool is perfect. They get to practice tracing both capitalized and lowercase letters!

I also love this bookworm bookmark/light that keeps my kids excited for our nightly reading before bed.

This stacking puzzle is great for practicing numbers too!

Stuffed Animals

We certainly have plenty of ‘stuffies’ in our house already but I couldn’t resist these.

These Slumberkins come with books that help promote healthy emotional learning. There are many different options including a unicorn, shark, yeti, dragon, sloth and more!

Legos

Legos are pretty much involved with everything at our house, so we couldn’t miss out on these Easter Bunny Legos.

Because Encanto plays on repeat in our house, we also picked up this Disney’s Encanto: The Madrigal House set that is a new release.

They even have a Flower Bouquet Lego Set!

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories

I love this adorable raincoat for those rainy spring days! This duck raincoat has made for some of my favorite spring pictures of my kids.

I always size up when buying Columbia coats for my kids so that it fits them longer. These coats are such high quality!

These cute kids aviators come in a number of different colors and are a great filler for Easter baskets!

We love these Crocs Rainboots. They are extremely lightweight, easy to clean and come in a bunch of different colors. The handles make them easy for kids to pull up all on their own.

These bubble umbrellas are our favorite. They cover more of you during a hard rainstorm and they also stand up to wind better than other umbrellas.

They come in an assortment of colors and prints too!

I always like to mix in some summer pieces to their basket, like these adorable sandals. Sunscreen is always good option and we use this Babyganics sunscreen. These sneakers are so cute and comfy for kids too!

Toys

I love this adorable rainbow stacking puzzle. It’s made out of silicone pieces that can be stacked into different creations.

These wooden stacking stones are a great sensory activity. Every time my kids see stones stacked at the beach, they always want to play with them. Now they can make their own stacks right at home!

This screw driver and wrench set is a fun way to let kids play with grown up tools.

These silicone beach toys are a modern twist on a fun classic. The silicone make it easy to get the wet sand out of the bucket and molds when at the beach too!

For learning, I love the brand Little Passports. We first received this as a birthday gift for our son and he has loved them ever since. A subscription is a great gift but they also have individual items to purchase too!

Bubbles are always loved by kids and these bubble-blowing animals are great to bring to the beach or park!

The Pop It craze is still going strong so why not add some Easter Pop Its to the mix too!

These Honey Sticks crayons are made with beeswax that are safe for kids. The size make them easier for younger kids to grip when learning how to color.

I hope my list of Easter basket ideas helped you choose some fun stuff for your little ones this year!
