While there are many different recipes for snack mixes out there, this is a classic, savory recipe. It’s all the best parts of Chex Mix and Gardetto’s without the added preservatives!

This snack mix is great to make for a football party, a kids snack for school, or just to have lying around the house.

If you aren’t able to find bread sticks (such as Grissini) you could also use oyster crackers. Another great addition to this mix is either peanuts or mixed nuts.

What You Will Need

Bagel (pumpernickel of another savory flavor)

Corn Chex cereal

Cheese crackers (such as Cheez-Its)

Pretzel sticks

Crunchy breadsticks

Salted butter

How to Make Chex Snack Mix

I like to use a pumpernickel bagel for this recipe but really any savory bagel flavor would work. Slice the bagel into really thin slices. Place bagel chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes at 325 degrees or until they are crispy.

While the bagel chips are baking, combine the Worcestershire sauce, butter, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt and a few dashes of hot sauce (optional) in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat until butter is melted and all of the ingredients are combined.

In large mixing bowl, combine Chex, pretzels, bread stick pieces, cheese crackers, and bagel chips.

Pour sauce over the mix and toss with a large spoon until all of the ingredients are coated.

Spread mix out on a large baking sheet.

Bake for about 20 minutes or until all of the ingredients are crispy.

Enjoy!
