It may have been delayed a year due to the pandemic, but we were finally able to celebrate my little sister’s bridal shower this summer! In this post I’ll share some of the details of her bright vineyard bridal shower!

From the beautiful, bright flowers arrangements to the delicious brunch foods and make-your-own flower arrangements, everyone had a great time celebrating the bride to be and her soon-to-be husband!

The event was held at a vineyard in upstate New York. The setting made for amazing photos as the backdrop was beautiful Lake Champlain.
The day started out with clouds and rain but ended up being bright and sunny by the time guests were arriving!
All of the floral arrangements were a labor of love – they were created by the mother of the bride and many of the flowers came from her own garden!
The flowers were a mix of zinnias, roses, cosmos, calendula and indigo.
On the guest book table, I used gold hoops and hung photos of the couple using white satin ribbon.
The balloon garland was set up in front of rustic wood wall to make the perfect photo backdrop. Guests used a white Polaroid camera to take tons of funny photos for the bride to be!
Keep in mind, you will likely need WAY more film than you think. Most guests will take photos to leave in the guest book but will also take a few to bring home with them!
For this bridal shower brunch we made sure to have some of the classics such a donuts, mini pancakes, and fruit. We also had lunch items available like assorted sandwiches, quiche and various desserts!
To make things easy on ourselves, we used mostly disposable items such as plastic silverware and plates.
For the spritzer bar, we used the wine made right at the vineyard! This cute sign directed the guests to make their own spritzers.
In keeping with the brunch theme, we also had a coffee & tea bar. As a nod to the upcoming wedding (which will take place in New Orleans), the k-cups were from Café Du Monde.
If you’ve never been to New Orleans, Café Du Monde is an absolute must visit for their delicious beignets and chicory coffee!
Each guest was able to make their own mini flower arrangement to take home as a favor. For this, we had different flowers and greenery, garden sheers and vases already filled with water. Each guest chose their favorite flowers and vase and made their own, adorable creation.
These came out really well and everyone enjoyed being able to bring home a little arrangement!
The key to having guests enjoy playing games at the bridal shower is to keep it quick and have great prizes!
We played Would She Rather?, What Did the Groom Say?, Finish the Lyrics, and Guess the Bride’s Dress. Guess the dress was the biggest hit and left my sister with some very interesting keepsake drawings!
Click here to visit the Etsy shop where I purchased these templates. We had plenty gold diamond pens to hand out for the games too!
For prizes, we kept with the wine theme and gave away bottles of wine from the vineyard, wine glass sets with coasters, and gourmet chocolate truffles.
I hope you enjoyed this bright vineyard bridal shower! Let me know your thoughts below!
